To start this journey, I sold everything I had. Everything. I was never that well to do but the drive and calling to make this happen was greater than myself and I was willing to do anything to help my fellow Veterans as I’m sure you are as well. I sold my electronics, furniture, collectibles, towels, kitchen appliances, even my pickup truck. I ended up with the items in my pack and three boxes of sentimental items that I couldn’t part with. Needless to say that there are several areas where funds will need to be raised to ensure the message and journey continues. It is through great Americans, such as yourself, that this happens.
This journey requires many things. The basic needs are funds for food and shelter. Not every meal and place to stay is donated. As I have no income and my savings has already been depleted on this journey, not having funds for these can be a big issue. The other things funds are used for is to help Veterans I meet along this journey. I donate to get Veterans in nursing homes food and basic items. I purchase food to give all of the Veterans in a homeless shelter a good meal in hopes to lift their spirits. I have been able to help with car repairs and some home repairs for Veterans that are in need.
Anything you can donate will go a very long way.

The funds for this will go to the veteran who had the house fire. There will only be 20 spots available. Once the spots are filled, the drawing will take place. I am hoping this will get filled up today! Each spot is $20 paypal to email@example.com or you can go to paypal.me/4cornershike Thank you and good luck! ... See MoreSee Less
I want to thank everyone who entered and helped this veteran. I spoke with the winner of the raffle and they wanted their share to go to the veteran. This makes my heart so happy. The veteran has also contacted me and wanted to tell everyone that they are at a loss of words and how much they appreciate everyone. When I told them that this was from all over the country, they were amazed to say the least. Thank you! ... See MoreSee Less
